Deluca's Restaurant

By Albrecht Powell, About.com

It's simple, unassuming and anything but fancy. But De Luca's in the Pittsburgh Strip District is popular for a reason. Their down-home, rib-sticking breakfasts keep the lines out the door on Saturday mornings. For plenty of home-cooked food at a great price, don't miss De Luca's in the Strip. It's definitely a Burgh thing.
Open For: Breakfast and Lunch. Sunday Brunch.
Hours: Monday - Sunday, 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
What to Expect: This down-home diner serves up stuffed omelettes, ice cream sundae pancakes, carved ham, home fries, bagel sandwiches, Italian raisin bread french toast ...the list goes on and on. Don't miss the milkshakes at lunch either. Expect to wait for a table on Saturday mornings. Plenty of on-street parking.
