Built on the site of the former Homestead steel mill, The Waterfront in Homestead provides 260 acres of shopping, entertainment and dining. This upscale shopping complex is one of the "cool" spot in Pittsburgh, with great ambience and action along Pittsburgh's rivers.

Location: Located along the Monongahela River just across the Homestead Hi-Level Bridge, at Waterfront Drive and Bridge Street in Homestead, PA. The huge brick chimneys, the only remnant of the former steel mill, make it easy to spot.

Public Transportation: The Pittsburgh Port Authority offers bus service to the Waterfront in Homestead on several different routes including some from Oakland and Downtown.

Monday - Saturday, 10:00AM - 9:30PM
Sunday, 11:00AM - 6:00PM
Plus, extended hours during the holiday shopping season.

Stores: The Waterfont shopping complex features a mix of stores from Filene's Basement to Barnes & Noble to Abercrombie and Fitch. There's even an old-fashioned village square surrounded by upscale shops.

Restaurants: Refuel at your choice of many nice restaurants, from casual to fine dining. Some of the favorite Waterfront restaurants include Mitchell's Fish Market, Bravo! Cucina Italiana, Pizzeria Uno, Rock Bottom Brewery and Dave & Buster's. The Waterfront is also near Oakland, Shadyside and other East End restaurants.

Loews Cineplex Waterfront Theatre: For a pampered movie experience, Loews Theatre at the Waterfront features stadium seating, state of the art acoustics and the most recent movies. Reserve your seats in advance and have dinner there as well.
