The SouthSide Works shopping complex features a mix of local and national retailers, including REI, Sur la Table, Joseph Beth Booksellers, Urban Outfitters and BCBG/Max Azria. The SouthSide Works is also the site of American Eagle Outfitters' national headquarters and flagship store.
Restaurants:
Refuel at your choice of many nice restaurants, from casual to fine dining. Some favorite SouthSide Works restaurants include The Cheesecake Factory, the 17,000 square-foot Hofbrauhaus (with riverfront beer garden), McCormick & Schmick's Seafood Restaurant, Tusca Global Tapas, and The Wine Loft. A live music venue, Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar & Grill, is expected to open at SouthSide Works in late 2010. The SouthSide Works is also located near Oakland, Shadyside and other East End restaurants, as well as just down the street from the South Side restaurants on Carson Street.
SouthSide Works Cinema:
For a pampered movie experience, SouthSide Works Cinema features 1700 stadium seats and 10 screens, with first run movies on seven of its screens and art or foreign movies on the other three screens. Despite the glamorous old-world exterior, inside it's fairly plain, but comfortable.
