Century III Mall, built on a recycled industrial area in 1979, is one of the largest enclosed malls in the Pittsburgh area. It has almost 1.3 million square feet of retail space on three levels and was completely renovated in 1997. Located near Kennywood Amusement Park.

Anchored by Kaufmann's, JCPenney and Sears, Century III Mall is home to more than 180 stores
, including many of the usual national and regional retail establishments. Some of the favorites include Aripostale, American Eagle Outfitters, Gymboree, Old Navy, fye, Cash-in Culture, Body Basics, Dicks Sporting Goods, Steve & Barry's University Sportswear and Kaufmann's Furniture Galleries.
Full-service, sit-down dining at Century III Mall is available at Mezzanotte Italian Restaurant (not your typical mall restaurant) and Ruby Tuesday. Several other restaurants
are located on Route 51 and Lebanon Church Road near the mall.
The food court
at Century III Mall features subs, pizza, Asian, deli and Italian. Other food options in the mall include Auntie Anne's Pretzels, Dairy Queen and Gloria Jean's Coffees.
Century III is a big shopping mall, but fairly average in terms of retailers. No movie theater or special attractions.
