From their beginnings as a group of music loving students at Indiana University of Pennsylvania in the mid-1980s, the Clarks have grown to transcend their Pittsburgh origins. They tour nationally year-round, and have released several albums.
The Gathering Field
A real hometown story, this band got it's big break by sending a copy of their first CD to the program director of WDVE (a local radio station). It made it's way into the rotation and the rest is history! The band is now well-known nation-wide.

With a sound influenced by the glam-rock bands of the 70s, Science Fiction Idols were the 2003 winners of the Graffiti Rock Challenge and subsequently released a new album - Spooky Sugar.
Sho 'Nuff is one of the city's more popular funk-rock bands. Winner of Pittsburgh's 96 Jam Slam competition of the bands and finalists in the 1998 Graffiti Rock challenge, this band incorporates rock, reggae and a dash of rap into their music.
