Fright Nights at Station Scare - 2006

Pittsburgh native George A. Romero, master of horror and co writer and producer of one of the most successful horror films of all time, "Night of the Living Dead," brings his movie to life as McDonalds presents George A. Romero’s Fright Nights at Station Scare at the Chevrolet Amphitheatre. Face your greatest phobias and fears at the new "Night of the Living Dead" farm house, Cemetery haunted walk and the all new "Psycho Maze" and "Metamorphosis of Horror."Thrill-seekers can also check out the terrifying rides, fun fortune tellers, freakish sideshows, the haunted movie theater and blood cider and fries in the Spooky Food Court. Before you leave, be sure to stop by the Executioner’s Hot Seat, where for an additional cost of $2.00, you can feel the volts pump through your veins when they throw the switch and have your picture taken for people to remember you by.

October 6-8, October 12-15, October 19-22 and 26-31, 2006
Monday - Thursday 7:00 pm - 11:00 pm and weekends 7:00 pm – Midnight

Prices:


One price general admission is $15.50 every day, and includes unlimited trips through all haunted walk-thrus, as well as entry into all thrill rides, side shows and the scary movie theatre. Save $2.00 off the regular price with a discount coupon available at participating area McDonalds (not good on Saturday’s).VIP admission is available for $20.00 and includes express lane priority entrance for all haunted houses, a FREE ticket for the Executioner's Hot Seat, a FREE hot dog and Pepsi, plus discounts for other festival attractions.

Tickets available at Ticketmaster outlets, CC.com and at the Chevy Amphitheatre Box Office, as well as the Fright Nights box office on the night of the event.

McDonald's Presents George Romero's Fright Nights at Station Scare is located at the Chevrolet Amphitheater at Station Square, just across the Monongahela River from downtown Pittsburgh.

Directions:

From the NORTH: I-79 south to I-279 south Parkway, Exit 5C to Station Square.From the SOUTH: PA Rt. 51 South or US Rt. 19 North to Liberty Tunnels; enter tunnels and make right at light upon exit; make left at next light; make left onto East Carson Street; make right at second light into Station Square.

From the WEST: US Rt. 22 and 30 East to I-279 North; before Fort Pitt Tunnels right at exit 7B West End; stay on PA Rt. 51 North; make right at downtown I-376 exit off of West End Circle; follow posted detour signs to Station Square.
