It's the Idlewild you know and love...with a fun, family-oriented, happy Halloween twist! Idlewild opens for weekends in October with specially themed rides and attractions, costumed characters, trick or treating through Story Book forest, favorite fall foods, and all of your favorite Idlewild games, rides and attractions, including Olde Idlewild, Raccoon Lagoon, Jumpin' Jungle, Hootin' Holler and Story Book Forest.
Dates and Times:
Idlewild Hallowboo is open September 27-28, October 4-5, 11-12, 18-19 and 25-26, 2008 from 12:00 noon to 6:00 p.m. Park gates open at 11:30 a.m. Story Book Forest closes at 5:30 p.m.
Prices:
A Hallowboo FunDay Pass is $19.95 ($4.00 off coupons are available at participating Giant Eagle Locations). Guests 2 & under are free.
Before You Go:
Most of Idlewild is open for Hallowboo, but SoakZone and Mister Rogers' Neighborhood of Make-Believe are closed. Not all rides are operating.

Meet local television host Jennifer Antkowiak as she greets Trick-or-treaters in Story Book Forest from 1:00 p.m. - 3 p.m. - September 27 & 28 Idlewild's HallowBoo! Cruise and Rod Run
Opening weekend of Idlewild's HallowBoo! features a parade of antique and classic automobiles daily at 1:00 p.m. through the midways of Olde Idlewild.
Join Froggy Radio as they present the Haunted Hearse and Candy Coffin from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Also on hand will be the Froggy "Sky-Box" playing your favorite Froggy hits!
Join Radio Disney AM 540 for some great music, fun and challenging competitions, and even a tasty treat! You'll find them near the entrance to Story Book Forest from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Idlewild Hallowboo is held at Idlewild & Soak Zone, 50 miles southeast of Pittsburgh on Route 30 in Ligonier, PA.
Directions:
From Pittsburgh, take I-376 (Parkway East) to the PA Turnpike to Exit #67 Irwin. Follow Route 30 East to Ligonier where you'll see the Idlewild signs.
