There's a nice picnic area too if you want to make a day of it (your welcome to bring your own picnic lunch), or concession stands offer hotdogs, hamburgers, cotton candy, candy apples, popcorn, drinks and other food. Great fall decorations available for purchase!
Christmas at Janoskis - Mid-November - December 31, 2006:
Winter at Janoskis means fresh Pennsylvania-grows Christmas trees, including cut trees and "live" balled and burlap trees. Plus, fresh wreaths, roping, swags and other holiday greenery.
Janoski's Farm Market & Bakery:
Janoski's Farm Market is open year round with the farm's own home-grown fresh fruit and vegetables. They also carry a selection of fresh foods from other area farms, including local farm fresh milk and eggs, local honey, fresh cheeses and local jams, jellies, preserves and candies. The Farm Bakery features a large selection of fresh-baked breads, pies, cakes, cookies and other baked goods. They'll bake up special orders too! Janoskis is especially good for gift baskets around the holidays.
Pick Your Own at Janoskis:
Trax Farms offers pick your own strawberries in June as part of their Strawberryland and pick your own pumpkins during the Janoski's Pumpkinland in October.
At the heart of Janoski's business are the greenhouses, where they grow their own Easter flowers, spring bedding plants, fall mums and Christmas flowers and poinsettas. Their selection of spring flowers and vegetables is one of the largest in the area - and their all grown right there at Janoski's. With 8 members of the Janoski family and 30+ seasonal employees, you can always find someone to help with answers or suggestions.
Janoski's Country Restaurant:
One of the newer ventures of the Janoski family, Janoski's Country Restaurant is located across the street from the farm market and greenhouses. It's old fashioned country cooking, featuring fresh produce from the farm in season. Dinners tend to run less than $10 per meal. The restaurant is open year-round from 6am to 8pm, seven days a week.
