The nationally recognized Pittsburgh Wine Festival offers an exciting menu of wine events, including a VIP and Grand Tasting at the Heinz Field Club Lounges with celebrity winemakers and hundreds of choice wines from around the world; informative wine and food seminars; and special winemaker dinners in area restaurants and in the private homes of prominent Pittsburghers. Acclaimed chef, restaurateur, author and public television series celebrity Lidia Bastianich and a former White house chef will be a featured guests during the 2008 Wine Festival.

May 3-8, 2008
    Kick-off Dinner & Live Auction, The Carlton, Saturday, May 3, 6:30 p.m.

    Wine Seminars, F. Tambellini Ristorante, May 5-7, 6:00-7:00 p.m.

    [Wine Luncheons, Dinners & Tastings at Pittsburgh Area Restaurants, May 5-9 (participating restaurants and times)

    VIP and Grand Tasting Event Heinz Field Club Lounges, Thursday, May 8 5:00 - 9:00 p.m.

    Wine Dinners in Private Pittsburgh-area Homes, May 6-7

Where:

Heinz Field, Common Plea Restaurant, The Carlton Restaurant, The Pines Tavern, Pittsburgh Renaissance Hotel, and other Pittsburgh area venues

Admission:

Tickets for the seminars and wine tasting events can be purchased online. Prices vary by activity, ranging from $50 for a wine seminar to $250 for the VIP Wine Tasting event. Tickets available in advance only.

It's a Charity Benefit:

Proceeds from the 2008 Pittsburgh Wine Festival benefit the UPMC Cancer Centers and UPMC Cancer Institute.
