Carnegie Library PC Centers
PC Centers operated by the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh at its Oakland and East Liberty branches offer a wide range of FREE classes in a variety of computer and Internet topics.
CMU - Andrew's Leap
This six-week summer enrichment program run by Carnegie Mellon University's School of Computer Science admits 35 students each summer. The curriculum includes interesting theoretical ideas in computer science and the design and programming of robots.
Community College of Allegheny County
CCAC offers a wide variety of computer and Internet classes at four campuses and eight centers around Pittsburgh. Several hundred seniors sign up for their "seniors only" computing classes each semester.
CompUSA Computer Training
CompUSA offers classroom learning for everyone from the beginning computer user to the advanced technology student. Pittsburgh training locations include Robinson and Monroeville.
Goodwill Computer Classes
Goodwill of Pittsburgh offers free and low-cost computer training in SouthSide, Homestead and Green Meadows.
Greater Pittsburgh Literacy Council
GPLC's Computer Learning Center offers mini-classes in Internet, word processing and spreadsheets.
Pittsburgh Area Computer Club
Formed in 1975, the Pittsburgh Area Computer Club is one of the oldest PC User groups in the world. Members benefit from monthly meetings, beginner's classes, specialty classes and more.
Vintage Senior Center
Vintage, one of Pittsburgh's best senior community centers, offers a variety of very popular low-cost computer classes for seniors.
VIPACE
This club, Visually Impaired Pittsburgh Area Computer Enthusiasts, encourages computer and Internet use by the blind and visually impaired.
