Allegheny County Summer Concert Series 2012

Each summer, Allegheny County hosts a series of free summer concerts at various parks and other locations around the Pittsburgh area. All performances in the Allegheny County Summer Concert Series are free and open to the public. Highlights for 2012 include multiple Grammy Award winner Lucinda Williams, Grammy-nominated funk jazz tour de force Trombone Shorty, and multi-platinum artist Joan Osborne, as well as several Big Band Bashes and the 18th annual Pittsburgh Blues Festival at Hartwood Acres. Plus, old favorites such as the Pittsburgh Symphony and Pittsburgh Opera.

Summer Concert Locations:

Concerts in the Allegheny County Summer Concert Series can be enjoyed at South Park and Hartwood Acres. For 2012 there is also a special concert in the park at Harrison Hills Park and a Big Band Bash at North Park.

2012 Free Allegheny Summer Concert Series Line-Up:

Pop/rock singer-songwriter (and Bethel Park product) Steve Moakler kicks off the free Allegheny County concert season on Friday, June 1 at South Park, followed by Grammy-nominated, multi-platinum artist Joan Osborne on Sunday, June 3 at Hartwood Acres. All performances are free and open to the public.
