Where to Park - Parking Options

<< Back to Heinz Field Directions/Transportation

Because most of the 6,187 parking spaces in the Heinz Field lots on the North Shore are reserved and pre-sold before the season, fans without a reserved space should utilize the approximately 10,000 parking spaces downtown and in the Strip District and 3,400 spots at Station Square. Additionally, Port Authority buses run from the park n' ride lots throughout the city to Heinz Field prior to the game. Fans utilizing the downtown Pittsburgh lots can access Heinz Field by walking across the Roberto Clemente Bridge, which is closed to vehicular traffic on game days, and taking the adjoining riverwalk directly to the stadium. The Gateway Clipper also operates riverboat shuttles for fans who park at Station Square.

Popular Heinz Field Parking Options

Bus service between Station Square and Heinz Field is also available via Route 98B.

Strip District Parking
Approximately 3,000 parking spaces are available in the Strip District where tailgating is permitted. Parking is available for $3 - $5 and a Port Authority Shuttle (96D) is available to the Stadium for $1.50 roundtrip. Waterways Inc. also operates a water taxi ($4 per round trip) from Donzi's.

South Side Parking
OK - It's a bit more of a hike, but if you're stuck, Network Parking Co. offers 3,500 spaces on the South Side.
