An example of a compromise between architect Frank Lloyd Wright and owner Edgar J. Kaufmann. Kaufmann felt the desk in the original design wasn't deep enough to be useful. Instead of moving the desk or eliminating the open window, Wright created a deeper desk with a corner cutout to accommodate the window.
