Extreme water sports, freestyle motocross, powerboat racing, children's activities, national-act concerts (including the incomparable Jefferson Starship), and the dramatic Fourth of July fireworks show are only some of the reasons to attend the annual Pittsburgh Three Rivers Regatta. Attracting over 500,000 annually, the Pittsburgh Regatta is the region's largest community event and the largest inland regatta in the United States. In 2013, the 36th annual Three Rivers Regatta will fill Point State Park (as well as the North Shore) and, for the first time in Regatta history, will feature two fireworks shows...to cap the evening’s entertainment July 3 and 4. Best of all, the Regatta is free!
