Don't miss this magnificent display of delicious dwellings created by area hotels, chefs, senior citizens, and students - all surrounded by a unique train display created by local artist, Don Jones. Proceeds from the sale of the houses benefit Childrens Hospitals Free Care Fund.

This life-size nativity scene is an actual replica of the one in St. Peter's Square in Rome, Pittsburgh's own symbol of Christmas. Dedication is at 12 noon on Pittsburgh Light Up Night.
Unite for Diabetes Scavenger Hunt & Sweepstakes

Booth Locations: Macy's (Fifth Avenue and Smithfield Street), Market Square and Point State Park
Help raise awareness for diabetes by navigating your way through the Light Up Night festivities using the Unite for Diabetes Trail. Stop by any of the Unite for Diabetes booths to pick up a scavenger hunt map and sweepstakes entry form. You can also participate in family-friendly activities including children's crafts, a football toss and a Unite for Diabetes campaign.

Stop by the square for live concerts, strolling performers, games, special giveaways and Light Up Night food vendors. Plus, plenty of childrens' activities. Stop by the Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership information booth for your official timeline of Light Up Night activities, get your cool Duquesne Light glow stick, pick up your materials to participate in the Unite for Diabetes Scavenger Hunt and Sweepstakes, purchase caricatures and holiday cards from students of the Art institute and much more. The Grinch Who Stole Christmas on Ice

RMU Island Sports Center Figure Skating Academy presents, "The Grinch Who Stole Christmas," a theatrical on-ice presentation of a man whose heart was two sizes too small. The Robert Morris University Island Sports Center Figure Skating Academy Members will bring the cherished story back to life in a fresh, new way at The Rink at PPG Place!

Honoring the citys past and looking forward to its future, LuminoCITY, created by artist Joe Wos, features the city skyline built with recycled steel that will be lit up over the evening by LED lights. Children of all ages are invited to join staff from the Children's Museum of Pittsburgh to create their own LED light and toss it on the skyline lighting up the city and its future!

Tribute of Light Ceremony/Plaza Tree Lighting

The Rink at PPG Plaza
The plaza will glisten with the glow of candlelight, as over 300 individuals carrying hand-held Tributes of Light candles will surround The Rink at PPG Place. Each candle will be dedicated in the name of someone touched by cancer. The ceremony culminates with the lighting of the 65-foot Plaza Christmas tree. All proceeds from this event benefit the American Cancer Society.
One Oxford Center Holiday Tree Lighting & Festivities

Join us for the magnificent tree lighting with Mayor Luke Ravenstahl at 5:45 p.m., followed by family activities, visits with Santa Claus, Children's Museum booths, live reindeer, and horse-drawn carriage rides.
Macy's Window Unveiling & Holiday Activities

Macy's Downtown, Fifth Avenue & Smithfield Street
Join in the countdown to the unveiling of the spectactular holiday window displays (approximately 7:15pm). Enjoy live holiday music, fun activities and craft stations with the Pittsburgh's Childen's Museum throughout the store from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 pm. Free gift for kids ages 12 and under (while supplies last).
