The Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix roars into Schenley Park this weekend with races and car shows featuring vintage (pre-1960) and historic (post-1960) racing cars. The Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix is the largest vintage racing event in the country and the only one to race on city streets. Many drivers consider PVGP to be the most challenging race course worldwide, with 23 turns not to mention haybales, manhole covers, telephone poles and stone walls.
Attendance is expected at over 1/4 million and admission to most events is FREE! Just be prepared for flash thunderstorms -- the weather will cool off for the weekend, but a 60% chance of scattered thundershowers is the tradeoff.
