Photo: Pittsburgh Three Rivers Regatta The 2011 Pittsburgh Three Rivers Regatta offers three days of non-stop action over the July 4th holiday weekend, including power boat races, freestyle motocross, a riverside sand beach complete with a world champion sand sculptor, the Mad-City Ski Team, Circus Orange, and, of course, the always popular Fourth of July "Flashes of Freedom" Fireworks Fantasia fireworks show from Pittsburgh's own Pyrotechnico. At Point State Park, Mister Rooter will be hosting a Pittsburgh "Calling All Kids" Zone, with wild, wacky and fun things kids like to do including inflatables and interactive games. There's also dragon boat racing, the "Anything That Floats" race, the Regatta Cup bass fishing tournament, , and concerts by a variety of local and national acts . Did I mention that it's free? What a way to celebrate the Fourth of July!

Thank you so much for the info. This does seem like a wonderful event, even more so that it is free. I will definitely be there with the family.
