The final weekend of September is one of the busiest of the year as summer events wrap up and fall events start up. The weekend gets to a great start with Martina McBride performing on Friday at the Post-Gazette Pavilion. On Saturday, the annual Head of the Ohio is one of Pittsburgh's premiere outdoor events featuring rowers of all abilities from juniors to Olympians, plus a day-long festival of activities and entertainment for all ages. If that's not enough racing for you, the Richard S. Caliguiri City of Pittsburgh Great Race will fill the streets of Pittsburgh on Sunday.

And then there are the festivals: the Mount Pleasant Glass & Ethnic Festival, the McConnell's Mill Heritage Festival, the Penn Brewery Oktoberfest, Festifall 2008 at the Friendship Hill National Historic Site, Erntefest at Old Economy Village, and the Clarion Autumn Leaf Festival. Plus, lots more!
