No Sweet Sixteen for the Panthers
Monday March 20, 2006
Add the Pittsburgh Panthers to the large list of upsets in this year's NCAA March Madness tournament. After winning over Kent State in the first round, the fifth-seeded Pittsburgh Panthers suffered a stunning 72-66 defeat in round two at the hands of the 13th-seeded Bradley Braves. The West Virginia Mountaineers, on the other hand, will be heading to the Sweet Sixteen after their 67-54 win against Northwestern State.
