Bettis Lands Job at NBC

Jerome Bettis - who announced his retirement from the Pittsburgh Steelers after they won the Super Bowl - has found a new gig. The announcement that he will be a part of NBC's "Football Night in America" pre-game show, made during tonight's Olympic Coverage on NBC, was a bit lame, but it is an exciting opportunity for The Bus. When asked if he will be able to be objective about his beloved Steelers, Bettis promised to "tell nothing but the truth." His first NBC game will be in Pittsburgh on Sept. 7, when the Steelers receive their Super Bowl rings.
