Steelers Headed to the Playoffs
Monday January 2, 2006
The Pittsburgh Steelers got the job done with a 35-21 win over the Detroit Lions. Runningback Jerome Bettis, in what may have been his final game at Heinz Field in a Steelers uniform, played with style - scoring three of the team's five touchdowns. The Steelers now move on to a wild-card playoff game against the Bengals in Cincinnati on Sunday, January 8. If they win against the Bengals, they'll move on to play the Indianapolis Colts the following Sunday.
