Do Not Call Me

Tuesday July 8, 2003
I rarely get unwanted phone calls anymore - a welcome relief - since signing up last year for the Pennsylvania Do Not Call List. Today, I expanded my protection from telemarketers to the federal level by also signing up for the new National Do Not Call Registry. Legislation is still pending in Pennsylvania to share the numbers on its state list with the National Do Not Call Registry, meaning that consumers who already signed up for the state list would not need to re-register to have the protections of both federal and state law, but I'm too impatient to wait!

Interesting,

What most people do not realize is that they can now opt out of all companies who are selling and using your private personal information data. Most don’t have a clue that billions are being made on our personal data and there isn’t a thing you can do about it, until now. Learn the truth of what is happening with regards to our personal private data, and then stop it. Free information far more powerful than just the do not call list.
